Spring! Can you feel it? The days are getting warmer and longer. The wattle is blooming and fruit trees are starting to blossom. Winter is packing it’s bags and going home (like a couple of footy teams after last weekends heart breaking losses, which we are going to speak of no more as it is still a raw wound) The football reference we are going to make though, is that the AFL Grand final is just around the corner and as Rob always advocates, that is also the turning points in our gardens on the Mornington Peninsula.
This means that it is the last chance for any big projects before spring really hits. We have performed great winter gardening at most properties, so if you feel there are any projects you would like undertaken, or any winter jobs we have missed, now is the time to let us know. After September, these extra tasks are much more difficult to undertake with the Spring schedule.
September to do list:
Pruning
Weeding
Mulching
Planting
Trimming
Fertilising
Weed spraying
Planning
Soil preparation
Clearing debris
Mowing
Snipping
Designing
Watering
Pest control
Enjoy the warmer weather
