Coastal Snippets October 2025

While many in the northern hemisphere are all about pumpkin spice and spooky season, in the southern hemisphere we are waking from our winter hibernations and enjoying sunny days and 20 plus temperatures. The beginning of daylight savings always makes summer seem tantalisingly close.

At Coastal, we have seemingly got through winter comfortably, although Mother Nature was a bit frugal with the rainfall. The AFL grand final is over for another season (and hopes are already springing eternal for the Demons in 2026). This also signals the end of another season and spring is now definitely upon us. Despite the precipitation undersupply, the grass and weeds have flourished. With this prolific growth we are now having, and always see at this time of year in all our peninsula gardens, we are now having to adjust our scheduling accordingly ensuring that everyone's property is maintained in readiness for spring and summer.  

As always, spring is a very busy time for Coastal, but we want to ensure that you and your properties are prioritised and looking their spectacular best for the upcoming summer and festive season (I saw christmas decorations in shops last week so it is apparently not too early to be thinking about it)  With this in mind, if you have any larger jobs that you would like undertaken, please contact us as soon as you possibly can so they can be slotted into the schedules for the upcoming weeks.  It is important to us that our loyal, valued clients have their gardens the way they envision for the warmer months so please advise us of your requirements.
