COASTAL SNIPpets June 2025

As you are no doubt aware, the rain that we hoped was coming in autumn didn’t eventuate.  There has been no proper rainfall and unfortunately our gardens which were valiantly holding up are now struggling.  

Luckily the BOM, in all their wisdom, has told us that the tide is turning on the rain front and with that lovely drop of rain last night we are feeling positive that our gardens will get the H2O break they need.  

We are continuing to strive to maintain your gardens as best we can in these topsy turvy weather times and we are now feeling slightly more comfortable that, with the expectation of winter rain to come, the planting and gardening rejuvenation we were hoping to do in late April and May can be done now.  

Although this gardening action is probably a month late, we are confident we can fix the problem areas and renew these gardens with strategic planting and mulching.
