Coastal Snippets Late November 2022

Victoria has always had the notorious reputation of experiencing all four seasons in a given day. Mother Nature must have decided that we Victorians have become a bit complacent about that. She has taken it to a new level and is giving us the experience of all four seasons several times each day! At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we want to sincerely thank you again for your patience and understanding in regard to how much this crazy weather has hamstrung us in our summer lead up garden preparations. In just the past few weeks alone, the Mornington Peninsula has been continually struck with torrential rain and strong winds, resulting in flooded properties and trees down everywhere. Mowing is virtually impossible in many places, and access to areas can also be limited. Our team have been fantastic and have stepped up and are undertaking any and all tasks that can be performed in these conditions. As we have mentioned previously, once this rain lets up and things dry out, they will be working extra hours and will be making an Usain Bolt-like sprint to the Christmas finish line to try to have your properties looking the way we all want them to look. For those of you avoiding the calendar and the countdown to the end of the year, please skip this paragraph. There is only just over 4 weeks until Christmas (a terrifying thought for those of us who have not started their Christmas shopping yet!) Our garden schedules for the next four weeks are essentially filled, however if you have any really urgent pre-Christmas requests or December 25th deadlines, please let us know immediately and we will make a valiant attempt to fit them in. Late November to do list: Keep crossing those fingers for this rain to stop, maybe cross your toes too and think dry, sunny thoughts
