COASTAL SNIPpets November 2023

I think we can all agree that Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humour! No gentle easing through Spring for us Victorians, we seem to be missing out on those gorgeous sun filled 20 degree days.  Mother Nature has decided that it would be much more fun to seesaw us back and forth from cold days requiring us to restart our heating to summer like temperatures nudging 30 degrees. 

The weather experts have been warning us that it is going to be a hot summer this year and it looks like they are going to be right.  With this in mind, we feel this is the optimum time to make sure your gardens are prepared for this with mulch.  Mulching is integral to the garden to protect the soil and the plant roots.  Now is also a great time to have your irrigation systems checked to confirm they are working efficiently as it looks as though they will be required regularly in the coming months.

As the holiday season draws closer, we are organising our work schedules to accommodate for this.  If you are holding events at your properties just prior to or over Christmas, could you please let us know as soon as possible so that we can incorporate that into the upcoming weeks?
